The core goal of language learning is to enable students to understand what they hear, speak it, read it clearly, and write it correctly.

Students build literacy through character recognition, pinyin, reading, writing, songs, and conversation — with values like kindness, courage, and responsibility woven into every story.

Curriculum Overview

Our Chinese program follows a four-level curriculum designed by experienced educators. Each level is matched to a child's age and reading ability, with clear learning goals so parents always know what their child is working toward.

初级入门 Beginner

Ages 4–6 · 2 years

Teaching Content

  • Rhyme-based character recognition

Methods

  • Whole-word recognition
  • Guided & listening reading

  • Story listening & simple retelling

Learning Goals

  • Describe pictures and read picture books
  • Answer simple questions about a text
  • Learn values like love, sharing, and gratitude through stories
  • Recognize 200 characters and 150 word groups
  • Recite 20 nursery rhymes; sing 10 Chinese songs

小班 Lower Elementary

  • Learn basic stroke order
  • Build oral sentence-making skills
  • Retell and answer questions about texts
  • Understand honesty, courage, and responsibility through stories
  • Recognize 300 characters and 250 word groups
  • Recite 10 nursery rhymes and 7 Tang poems; sing 10 Chinese songs

中班 Intermediate

  • Learn to use a Chinese dictionary
  • Build oral and written sentence-making
  • Retell texts in their own words
  • Strengthen comprehension, thinking and expression
  • Recognize 400 characters and 300 word groups
  • Recite 15 nursery rhymes and 10 Tang poems; sing 10 Chinese songs

大班 Advanced

  • Answer comprehensive questions about texts
  • Targeting HSK Level 4 or above
